Importing Reviews to TargetBay
TargetBay allows you to import reviews from any previous source. You can import reviews from previous review solution apps or other external sources.
Previous Review Solution Apps
You can easily import your reviews from any of these review solution apps:
- Shopify Product Reviews
- Yotpo
- Judge.me
To do so, follow these steps:
- Export your existing reviews from your previous app.
- Shopify Product Reviews
- Yotpo
- Judge.me
- Head over to the Import Reviews tab in your TargetBay admin
Click "Upload CSV file":
- Upload the export file of the relevant app
Note: If you have reviews from a review solution app not listed above, please import your reviews using our import spreadsheet, as mentioned below.

| Product Id or SKU | Required | The unique id for your product, SKU | 1190 or swmkit3m |
| Review Creation Date | Required | The date the review was left by the reviewer.

| Review Content | Required | The text of the review, as submitted by the shopper. | I love the way this bicycle hoist works and am very happy with it. |
| Review Score | Required | The review score left by the shopper.
Can be any whole number between 1 and 5. | 4 |

| Reviewer Display Name | Required | The name of the shopper, as it is displayed on-site. | Carol S |
| Reviewer Email | Required | The email address of the shopper.
This won’t display on-site but it’s required for commenting, re-sending review requests, and integrations. | carol@email.com |
| Published Review | Required | Indicates if the review is published to your site.
Valid values:
- publish
- draft | publish |
| Comment Content | Optional | The shop owner’s response to the review content. | Thank you for your kind words! |
| Comment Date | Optional | The date the shop owner responded to the review.
